Welcome to the Hunters Inn

The Hunters Inn is a friendly community pub with two very distinct bars, a large patio and garden with children's play area catering to a broad range of customers.
Our lounge and dining room area can cater for up to 50 diners with a traditional pub food menu, complimented by a daily specials board and fantastic roasts on a Sunday. We also have a dedicated gluten free menu.

COVID-19 Update

It’s nearly time to welcome you back
We have missed you and are pleased to let you know we will be reopening on Tuesday 14 July.
We appreciate that some of you may be disappointed that we are not opening on the Saturday 4 July but after careful consideration we have decided to take the extra time working through the guidelines, holding training sessions with our staff and  implementing a new way of operating that ensures the safety of both our staff and you our customers, with new measures including hand sanitiser points, enhanced cleaning routines, tables spaced appropriately and signage explaining the new ways of operating.
Things will be different when you return and unfortunately there has to be a list of do’s and don’ts so we ask for your patience and understanding – together we will learn to socialise in this new normal.
Our indoor space is being reorganised and only table service will be available in both the lounge bar/restaurant and public bar. We strongly advise pre booking a table for either bar and these will be available for a maximum of 6 people and up to 2.5 hours. Phone lines for booking will open on Thursday 2 July – please note we will only be taking telephone bookings so please do not message us regarding bookings.
As you are aware we are fortunate to have a number of different outdoor spaces at the Hunters Inn and service for outside will be via a queueing system at the public bar. However, when planning your visit please note that if you are outside and it begins to rain you are unlikely to be able to move inside. We must also advise that initially no children under 12 will be allowed inside the pub and even when in the garden they must remain seated with parents at all times, respecting social distancing for other groups occupying the garden.
Our reduced menu and reduced hours are now published on this site.
We know that things will be different,  it will take longer to serve you and at times it will be frustrating for both customers and staff but we will do our best to make it as enjoyable an experience as we can in as safe an environment for you as we can.
As we operate to this new rhythm we will be adapting and updating our operating practices so please bear with us and we can’t wait to see you on or soon after 14 July.

The pub has 3 very distinct outside areas - a large patio to the front of the lounge bar, a side garden with seating for outside dining plus a large beer garden at the back with a childrens play area. In addition we have 2 car parks including a large car park at the rear.
